I have absolutely no idea if Scars will be released here, or just in the UK, but I thought I'd share some radio/video links & if anyone wants to request that Natalie be played, they can. To be honest I don't listen to alot of radio/watch music video shows, so if any other Aussies can add to the list...

 You're joking right. Her management sending a mail. I don't believe in miracles.They can hardly mess up, when it appears they're doing nothing really. I say 'appear'. I don't know what they're actually doing or not doing. And you always have to be careful when you say something,  about things you haven't witnessed yourself. Or something like that.

When the video's out, I assume we'll be mailed from the website, with a link to the video. That's what they did with 'Want'.

@joshall: I think that Taken-Out-To-Sea was giving the links with the intentions of once the video and single had actually been released, for us to vote for it.

If the single is coming out early April or just before Natalie releases the album over here, I'd imagine that we wont really see it prior to the release. Maybe a week or so beforehand. But I obviously don't know what's currently planned. I'm just glad to see that Natalie seems to be continuing with it, it's a pretty damn good sounding album and I look forward to buying it, in all of it's circular shiny glory. If it is (as has been stated/alluded to) without Universal/Island... I say more power to Natalie really :)

I know there's a few people that wont appreciate me saying that, but freedom of speech is currently still something I enjoy the pleasure of having (and it's not like I'm being negative or hurtful)

But once we know the release date and it's out there, I'll do some voting and pestering of local radio stations. Although I'll try to refrain from taking hostages. (Of course, I'm joking... I'm a good boy, haha).

I would like to think that there wasn't certain elements possibly attempting to stand in the way of Natalie's latest songs getting air-play... Maybe I'm just being a bit paranoid. That can happen sometimes ;)

Anyway, it has been a little while since I posted. I figured you'd all be missing me (you can laugh, I did)... So I decided to make a post, especially seeing as my favourite people from this forum have done so here.

Sometimes you actually can. Radio and tv usually have the singles/clips a lot sooner than the releasedate.How can people otherwise have the chance to learn new music.Besides trying can never be bad.

To clear any confusion I may've caused; I simply posted links for people to request radio/video support in Australia when/if the songs is released as Missed-da-Wolf said.

Nova is quite a popular station with the 'younger' listeners. Each state capital has their own station & the websites used to feature a section where you could request a song from the most played Top 20, or add you're own song. They've since overhauled their websites & it appears this function is either no longer availible, or isn't obvious.

In regards to Triple J, you can request anything. Seeing as CTL is already released in Australia, Scars can be requested, it isn't uncommon for them to play non-single tracks (Powderfinger featured a lot of new songs eligible for Hottest 100 voting, only 1 was a released single at the time). Whether they play Natalie or not, I can't say.
