I think Scars is a perfect choice to be released as a single. Not my favourite song (it's My God) but still a good one anyway.

for my is also a good election, and it's also the best song from the latest album for me.

We already know that is was gonna to release this song as the second single, the question was when.

 Finally. This should have been first choice, always. Then Lukas, then Twenty or Cameo. Or Fun... she's actually made an album with a lot of choices. Hopefully this one does well enough to get things back to speed. Being experimental during a recession when funding etc is low was a bad choice, but I'm glad to see Scars is finally going as a single, it'll get people interested again.

Joshall/Duncan: You've been negative about every career path move Nat has made since LOTM, when I was moderating the old BB forum you were just as bad then... and that's about 7 years ago! Lighten up or just leave! 

so glad Scars is the next single...i think it will appeal to a lot of people who liked Torn as they are quite similair IMO...hope there will be a lot of promotion though as i can see this single and the album being a success...  :)

Nice, finally some movement! I hope she will change acoustic album version into rock version. Album version of Scars is too quiet. But this version rocks! "You like it? Cool"

I've grown fond of the album version by now (I mean we HAVE had the album for quite a while now haven't we :p) so I don't mind which one becomes the "radio" version. Or like Ely says a tweaked version that sounds more like the one in the live sessions from last year.

I'm quite eager to learn how Natalie & her team are going to translate the song into a meaningful music video, in that respect I believe the up-tempo version might be easier to make a video with a lasting impression. Anyway as I've said before I'm really glad Come To Life is still there, hoping for the best now for Scars!

YIPPEE!!! News from Natalie!! I knew everything was on track

I think 'Scars' is quite a good choice & is more the type of song people who don't closely follow Natalie would expect. Having finally heard the 'upbeat' version that everyone's raved about, I have to say I like them both the same. The older version fits in more with the 'Glorious Era' and showcases Natalie's vocals & while I do indeed like the melody, considering the lyrics, for me they don't quite fit. I think the acoustic version is more appropriate for the lyrics, but the album version seems a bit too light musically.

Using a different version for the single release may have the advantage of making people buy it, because it's different to what they have on the album, but what I really would like is atleast 2 b-sides

 I really hope 2010 is Natalie's year.
