will natalie cheer up/put her head up?

Both personally, and professionally, do you think she is gonna put her head up(in spanish "levantar la cabeza"). I mean if she is going to promote herself well, and if she is gonna be happy? I think so, and I also hope it, and the solution is this; to be well-known as a person, dont hide, and on the personal scope, have fun, don't be scared to fall in love, as she said once.
what do you think/believe about it?
P.S: I think all this they will happen soon.

Re: will natalie cheer up/put her head up?

I hope Natalie does start to find herself (and any happiness that she's been missing) again very soon.

The very lovely Miss Imbruglia has more than enough reasons to hold her head up high, regardless of what anyone else has told her. Even if she is choosing to try and do things in her own way... This in itself, is nothing to be ashamed of or be disregarded for. Quite the opposite in fact. It takes a lot of character, will & strength to keep going against the odds. Especially when most of these odds would appear to have been deliberately targeted at her.

Natalie is an amazing woman, inspirational and gracious. Many within the industry (and many outside of it) could learn a lot from her I think. In my own opinion, she should definitely trust her own intuition more over other's forceful opinions. No matter how brilliant someone else may be perceived as (or believe they themselves are), doesn't mean that their opinion really is any better than her own, certainly not in matters concerning herself.

They may be able to give a different perspective and help you see possible problems within your own thought patterns... but ultimately your choice is (and should be) your own.

I believe that this is one of the better ways to achieve happiness within yourself. We all need help sometimes, there is no shame in that. But it depends on if this comes as true help or just under the guise of help.

Natalie is already well known, people just need a bit of reminding (should I start making pointy sticks to poke them with?).

I can fully understand either approach to falling in love to be honest. Most people, at one time or another, have experienced the smooth and sharp side of love. It's a difficult thing for anyone to make a comment on really when concerning anyone else. Again, I think that the good lady herself would probably be a better judge of this than anyone outside could be. After all, no-one knows Natalie's heart better than she does.

If she does happen to find someone, I truly hope that they can be both everything she needs and desires. Quite what that list would include, who else would know that?

Wow, how much have I rambled on here? No doubt joshall will have something delightful to say about it all, lol.

Anyway... A good, more positive post to create, thanks for doing so :)

    Take care and stay well.

    Hi guys,

did I miss something? Is Natalie not well? Depressed? I'm sure everything will work out. And it's a good thing she wants to do things her own way.Even if it takes a little longer. To be honest I thought  she was ok, preparing for the marathon or maybe I'm completely wrong here?. Am I wrong by thinking she's not well either.? Anyway it'll be alright in the end.Really. But I can understand she's going through quite some difficult times. If even your own fans have a go at you. But she doesn't have to worry. There may be a few people nagging, but most fans stay fans, right?!! I hope she's ok. She deserves to be happy, as anyone for that matters. And love, yeah it's a two-sided thing. It makes you happy, it kills you at times as well. I'm sure she'll find someone someday who'll make her happy again. I wish her all the best. Hopefully she also knows, we keep standing behind her.

And I hope you both are also very well, take care.

Re: will natalie cheer up/put her head up?

    Hello,

I concurr with stitch16. I was unaware of any problems with Miss Imbruglia when I joined this site.  I know that she has not enjoyed the successes that she had when she first came onto the scene in the late 1990's, but she has always maintained a presence of respectability and sincerity to this day.  I don't know if her ending of her marriage with Paul Johns attributed to how she feels now (I read somewhere that she dreads being alone and has started dating) and I know "once you have something and you lose it, your heart yearns to regain that feeling again".  In reading here that I also learned that she has taken to having a more hands on approach to the daily operation of her music dealing and other aspects of her business and that has mixed results.  There was a time that things were not going as well in my life as previously and one of my friends said to take yourself back to the places that you were most comfortable with (like going back to your old neighborhood, catching up with old friends, visiting happy places of interest).  I did that and found that these places offer a fresh viewpoint of who you were and what you could do.  Today, my personal and professional life is better and I have improved direction and vision as to what I want to do.  Perhaps Natalie should venture back to her early periods of interest such as going back to Australia to renew old friendships, visit long lost places that she felt at ease with; in essance, return to her "neighbors". I hope things get better for her and that she can retain a new outlook on things by recaharging her batteries in places that always brought a smile to her face and a warmth in her heart.

    Many thoughts and prayers.
