    Why!?

Why... for the love of 'God' and this gracious green Earth, is ALL of the aid and money not reaching all the innocent survivors in Haiti!?

The nations on this planet have the money, they have the man power and they have the technology... do they not?

This is of course, just my own opinion. But perhaps if EVERYONE wasn't so busy wasting their money and time trying to destroy each other with their latest weaponary... These sorts of problems may not be able to be stopped from occuring, but they'd certainly get resolved a lot quicker and people could begin to rebuild their lives?

Or are we just waiting to see how much more desolate the place can become?

But then, who am I to make such a statement?

    Also:
Personally, I couldn't see any really justified reason for the 'Daily Mail' (Saturday's, I think) to choose not to put anything 'visible' about the latest Haiti headlines. Most other papers seemed to have it.
Admittedly, I don't buy or even read newspapers at all really, but I did notice that their free Miss Marple DVD, The lovely Princess Dianna's son and something about heating bills... all managed to make it.

But again, this is just my own personal view.

    Hi Missed-Da_Woo1f,

I think you're right. We do send help, but it shoud get quicker to the people. Most countries do their best though. I read we're even doing a special show in Belgium to raise money, later this week. It's better than nothing right.,

I agree nations should stop destroying eachoter, but when it comes to money..., I'm afraid they choose money. Sometimes it seems people's lives aren't much worth anymore these days. While a persons' life should receive the highest value. I mean it should just be you, whose living there in Haïti.Having these nature disaster around you, losing family/friends, fighting yourself to keep your life.... We cannot even imagine what these people are going through right now.In that way, we are extremely lucky to be born here. And hopefully, they receive the money we deposit for them. It's a small thing we can do, but let's pray/hope it helps them a little bit to rebuilt their lives.

Hm Interesting, the Daily Mail thinks dvd's are priority to Haïti. I always thought journalists are people with some kind of brain. Well they surely proved me wrong.

    Re: Why!?

Absolutely right about life. All life is something to be treasured and respected (well that's my view anyway). I know that Haiti has had a reputation for violence and crime rate etc. But no nation deserves to have to suffer such a disaster, natural or otherwise. It's a totally heart breaking thing to watch all those dead people on the streets on the news, as well as seeing all those people being pulled out after such a horrifying experience.

    Sad

I do pray/ask/hope, I can't even help but cry when seeing such things.

It's such a hard thing to deal with, losing those you love and care about from this life, I know. Even when you have a faith, you can sometimes find yourself questioning it. But I think it's completely amazing how they are still finding people alive, a miracle and testement to the ability of us and I believe they were indeed being watched over.

It was also very heartwarming to see many of the survivors dancing and singing, thanking  and praising 'God' for their good fortune. They obviously feel  and believe they have something great in their lives ...and why shouldn't they?

Anyway, I'm starting to ramble a bit now, lack of sleep no doubt.

I think I need a bit of a computer break. Take care all who read this.

    Re: Why!?

    I'm ok thanks. Usually am.

I'll be sorting out a donation to help the Haiti survivors soon, just need to see what I can spare. Should have done it sooner I guess. Better late than never though.

Anyone else wishing to donate can do so here www.dec.org

Whatever you do, whenever you do it, is good. I did a donation myself. Meanwhile they had already a second one. Let's hope their misery's gonna end now.So they can start, to build their lives up again.

    Take care, everyone.
